Family Psychotherapist & AUTHOR

I help you to create healthy boundaries and reclaim yourself by offering techniques for self-awareness, self-love, healing, and growth. My gift is in helping you to identify, access, and process difficult emotions, showing you how to navigate life’s inevitable ups and downs, and develop healthy coping strategies.
I write, teach, offer therapeutic interventions and hold retreats for those of you wanting to overcome difficult challenges such as low self-esteem, boundary setting, relationship difficulties, finding motivation, adjusting to change, self-forgiveness, separation, and loss. I have had the privilege of working with many primary school aged children, school leavers, and young adults, to new parents and mature adults. The intention behind my work is to use my knowledge and experience to help you through the most difficult times in your life. It is my mission to give you the tools you need to thrive in your relationships and life.

ABOUT ME

Registered Child, Adolescent, and Family Psychotherapist

I have worked with Children, Young People, and Families for over fifteen years practising as a qualified Social Worker, and in recent years, as a qualified Psychotherapist. I am registered with both Social Work England and the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.

I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Bedfordshire, and my post graduate degree from the University of Roehampton. I have a wealth of experience in working with those who are feeling overwhelmed with the pressures of life, repeating negative patterns, suffering from loss, and those who want to take charge of their lives and make changes to the way they think and relate to others.

MY BOOK

I Know Why She Smiles

Daniella Kadene

Part memoir and part guide, ‘I Know Why She Smiles’, is an incredibly raw, brutally honest and ultimately inspiring account of a young womans’ determination to succeed in a world that tells her she no longer can. Guided by the single principle of helping other young women like her, she takes the reader through her own experiences, believing that in essence, it is the struggles that we face in life, that strengthens our wings to fly.

FEES & AVAILABILITY

Therapy
Initial consultation (20 minutes) – £15
Ongoing online therapy sessions (50 minutes) – £45
I offer a slightly discounted rate of £329 for those of you who want to book eight bulk sessions.

We usually meet on the same day and time each week. There is no ‘right or wrong’ length of time for therapy, so how many sessions you have with me may vary. Short term work usually lasts for about 8-12 weeks focusing on specific challenges that are causing the greatest amount of adversity. Long term intervention allows you to take your time unpacking issues that may be deep rooted.

Get in touch
The first step is to send me an email and tell me a little bit about what is troubling you. If you would like to arrange an appointment, then we can set a mutually convenient day and time to meet. All email enquiries are treated in strict confidence. Please contact me via the contact form below.

During our initial appointment, we can discuss the difficulties you are experiencing, what you would like to achieve from therapy, and explore the best approach to meet your needs. I always work collaboratively and I will not judge or criticise, and endeavour to make our sessions feel safe and supportive. During our initial appointment you are under no obligation to commit to further sessions. Sometimes, it may take another meeting before you decide to begin therapy.
